Helen- of the Miraculous 8 Rescue!

A4A Rescue Executive Director & Co-Founder, Stacey Ritz, spends time with Helen- an adult blind feline rescued in the "Miraculous 8" Rescue in early June. Ritz foster's Helen in her personal residence and says she is head over heels for this lucky feline! "Helen is making huge progress. Because of her severe eye infections (that plagued her for years prior to her rescue at A4A)- she has lost all sight in both eyes. She hardly had any hair when she arrived at A4A-- and already most of it has grown back- thanks to the great raw and organic nutrition she is receiving on a daily basis. Helen is in the process of learning how to walk up and down steps...but she is determined to make it happen! She lives life to the fullest each day- and she is a bundle of love and joy."
A4A is currently working with one of our trusted veterinarians to help Helen overcome her chronic URI. In a month (or maybe a few)- once Helen gains full health, Helen will have the necessary eye surgery on both eyes. A4A is currently in the process of saving up funds to afford her eye surgeries. Honey was rescued from a high-kill shelter in KY...literally JUST IN TIME! Honey is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She is now spayed, UTD on shots, HW tested, on HW prevention, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas, worms and ticks. She walks great on a leash, she LOVES all people and she is calm and gentle. She just loves to be by your side and to be loved! She is approx. 2 years young and weighs just under 40 lbs. Whether you are a member of our new Facebook Fan page (www.facebook.com/advocates4animals), a member of our FB Cause Page (http://www.facebook.com/Advocates4Animals#!/Advocates4Animals?sk=app_2318966938 ), an annual Advocates 4 Animals Member/Supporter through giving, a donater of items in need (ex: blankets, litter, food, toys, etc.), a donater of much needed funds, a transportation volunteer, a volunteer to help with any of our annual fundraising events, or an adopter of one of our rescue cats/dogs, or a volunteer foster home...we sincerely thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support and for your kindness and compassion towards the rescue animals in our local area.
We started A4A Rescue back in 2003- and now here it is 2011- and I still get goose-bumps up when wonderful individuals like Heather N. and Jill B. step up to volunteer their time and efforts to help A4A Rescue literally save a dog from death row and transport her back to the safety of an A4A foster home, or when Susan C. steps up and says she can foster 2 felines for us when we are in desperate need. I still spend every waking second outside of work- on coordinating the next rescue, the next fundraiser event to help the animals or checking in with volunteer foster homes to see how each pet is doing. In operating an all-volunteer, cage-free, no-kil 501c-3 non-profit rescue organization- it is unfortunate that we see so many difficult situations. Nearly every day someone asks "How do you do it?" followed with the statement "Oh, I could never do it. It would be too hard to see all of the bad." Every day, every time I hear this statement, I reply the same as I have for many, many years. "I rescue/rehabilitate and adopt animals in need because there is such a great need- and because it truly makes a difference in the life of every pet we can save. It makes a difference in the life of the individuals involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering and adopting each and every pet too. YOU can do anything you set your heart to-- anything at all. That doesn't mean that it won't take tons of hard work, persistence and dealing with many ups and downs- but you CAN do anything your heart desires, if you just make the choice to do so."
To each and everyone of you reading today's blog post- your donations and your actions speak loudly and I thank you, on behalf of all of the thousands of animals that have been, are being and will be rescued in the future by A4A Rescue (from high-kill shelters, from neglect, from abuse, from their lives as strays living alone on the streets...)- thank you, thank you, thank you for all that YOU are doing to support our mission of kindness and compassion towards the animals in need. We truly could not continue to save thousands of lives without the support from each and every one of you.
We are often told that we inspire others-- and we are thrilled to hear this! However, I want you to know-- that you inspire me-- and us-- to continue our rescue/rehabilitation and adoption efforts! Your words of kindness, your compassionate remarks on our FB page or to us via e-mail, your donations, your volunteering and your adoptions-- they tickle us each and every time! YOU INSPIRE US to continue our efforts. YOUR actions motivate us to keep going. And YOU, each as individuals, mean the world to me and to us- and especially you mean the world to the thousands of rescued animals who have entered and been adopted through A4A Rescue- because of your continued support.
It takes us ALL working together as a team- all of us taking ACTION and taking steps towards helping the animals in need. We may all help in different ways- but every way is necessary and every way is needed. There are so many ways to help and to support A4A Rescue- and so many more ways of help to yet be discovered. It is important for me- that each and every one of YOU know how very special you are to A4A Rescue. We take your comments, your e-mails and your letters very seriously- and we are so thankful for your kind hearts. You all mean the world to us- and we are proud and so very honored to have you as part of our team. Words can not express our thanks.

It was Just the Tip of the Iceburg!!!!!

We have just 3 more males to fix/vaccinate, etc. from the horse track barn (we thought that would be everyone)....we're excited to have helped so many already!

HOWEVER, that was just the "tip" of the iceburg! We just found out today that there are 30...yes, 30!!!! more BARNS on the property- all with L...OTS and LOTS of un-fixed cats of all ages in EVERY one of the 30 more barns! We are a bit overwhelmed- but we certainly will not walk away from the project! We are committed to helping every cat on the property-- as long as it takes (it will take us awhile-- with only 3 of us actively working on this project!) DONATIONS and Volunteer FOSTER homes (-in the Cincy and Dayton, OH areas) are MUCH NEEDED for this very large project! We estimate that the project will take us several years (and lots of work and expense!) to fully complete...)

Sherri- Being Rescued from a very high-kill shelter- with just moments to spare!

If you haven't heard about Sherri yet-- she is a lab mix that had 1 day left at a high kill shelter in KY. We were contacted within just a few hours to spare for Sherri's life...A4A stepped up to the plate and is saving Sherri's life as I write this! We are so happy for Sherri- and so very thankful for our wonderful co-founders and our volunteers at A4A Rescue!
Sherri was turned into this high-kill shelter when her owners hit financial hard times and were forced to move from their home. Sherri is outgoing, friendly and loving! She is a yellow lab mix and only approx. 1-2 yrs young. Stay tuned and we will be providing updates, videos and photos on our FB page in the very near future. Sherri was rescued from the shelter TODAY- and we found a vet clinic who will board her for us tonight. Tomorrow we have a chain of volunteers transporting different legs of the trip to get Sherri safely to her foster home at A4A Rescue...stay tuned!!!

Many Cats & Kittens Ready for Adoption!!!

We have MANY cats and kittens ready- or soon to be ready- for adoption into loving homes! Please be sure to read our adoption guidelines prior to completing an online adoption application. And please be sure to consider adopting an adult cat. There are many adult cats in need of a loving home. Many people believe that you can not form as great of a bond with an adult cat as with a kitten- when in fact this is a myth. All cats need and desire love, attention, affection and a safe place to call home. The rescue cats at A4A come from tough pasts- and each one is so very appreciative of a forever loving home to call their own- despite their age.

If you do decide a kitten is best for you- be sure to do lots of research prior to adopting a kitten. Do you know how to kitten proof your home to prepare for your kittens arrival? Did you know it is best to adopt 2 kittens together rather than just one (for social/emotional purposes, etc.). Do your research, take time to talk to your family and household members to really think about making the right decision for your home and household and be sure that you are willing to make a commitment to your adopted pet for his/her natural lifespan.

Please Help the Horse Track Kitties in Need!

We are working hard to get all of the stray felines at the local horse track spayed/neutered and healthy! Those who are friendly are being placed in volunteer foster homes while A4A works hard to find loving forever homes for each one. Those who are feral are being TNR (trap-neutered-returned). A feeding/water station and ongoing/endless cat food have been supplied and are available for the TNR cats at the horse track and individuals have been identified to continue caring for and feeding the ferals daily. We are raising funds to help with the cost of SPAY/NEUTER for all of these cats (average cost for spay is $80 per cat). We are also vaccinating, FeLv testing, worming and treating for fleas and ear mites as well. We need your support to help the many felines in need at this location! Please help!

Dr. Rastetter, DVM opened the hospital just a few months ago- with a focus on low cost spay/neuter for ALL (there are NO INCOME REQUIREMENTS!!!). Dempsey Found His Forever Home!

You may have been following our Facebook Fan Page (www.Facebook.com/Advocates4Animals) and if you haven't yet- please go to our FB link and be sure to click "Like"! We introduced you to little puppy Dempsey rescued from a high-volume shelter. He had been hit by a car- and had some breathing issues and wounds on his front leg. After nearly 3-1/2 weeks at a high-volume shelter, A4A Rescue was able to pull/save this little guy and bring him into one of our wonderful volunteer foster homes. Dempsey came to our annual Easter Bunny Photo event to help us out- in Yellow Springs, OH on Saturday, 4/23. He was adopted that evening by a long time friend and former co-worker of our Executive Director. Dempsey now has an older rescue canine sister named Molly (black lab) and 2 feline siblings- as well as a warm, caring and loving forever home to call his very own. His adopters continue to provide him with top veterinary care as he wounds continue to heal and improve- and he gets lots of love, attention, affection...everything life should be! He's a lucky guy! As always, thanks for all of your support! As a small, all-volunteer, 501c3 rescue organization- we sincerely appreciate your help and support! We would like to introduce you to our 2 new Senior Sisters (approx. 9 yrs young) at Advocates 4 Animals Rescue- now ready for adoption!

"Hi- We're sisters, Zoe & Chelesy! We sure can't wait to meet you! We were rescued by an active duty Air Force member who had to be stationed overseas recently. The individual who rescued us did the right thing when contacting A4A for help- we're so lucky she didn't take us to the shelter- as 97% of all cats who enter the shelter are killed (for "lack of space"!) Phew- we're lucky, lucky girls! We are both as sweet, loving and friendly as can be- and we both have beautiful matching eyes. We're both spayed, up to date on shots and of course housetrained/litterbox trained. We've both tested negative for FeLv and we've been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. We LOVE the pampered indoor life- and we're looking for a home together. We both get along great with everyone who is kind to us- all people, dogs, and other cats. We are approx. 9 yrs young (A4A had a rescue cat who lived to be 23-- so we have MANY good years ahead of us!) We're happy, healthy and did I mention loving? We're searching for a loving, calm forever home to call our very own...We sure can't wait to meet YOU!

Meet ONE of our newest rescues: Mom & Kittens

Be sure to watch this quick video of one of our newest rescues at Advocates 4 Animals Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. We just rescued them last night-- so very sweet. This beautiful mama was dumped in someone's front yard on the side of the road- and the next day, she gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens. The kittens are only a few days old- their eyes are not open yet. They are now safe and sound in a loving volunteer foster home here at Advocates 4 Animals Rescue. They have their own private room in their foster home- so Mama can properly care for and attend to her babies. Mama was/is VERY hungry- and has been gobbling up the food and water. She is incredibly sweet and kind- and doing a good job caring for her newborns. Be sure to keep checking our blog and FB for updates on this family. At Advocates 4 Animals Rescue, we bear witness to miracles everyday -from an animal that learns to re-trust humans after they have been tortured to the animals we rescue that barely escape euthanasia within our broken shelter system. All of these animals touch our heart deeply, but it is on occasion that we meet one who impacts us so profoundly that we really take a moment to reflect the true miracle their life represents. Theo is 3 weeks old, a beautiful, white kitten with energy and love to spare. Theo is an orphan – no mother and no siblings and was bottle-fed and saved by humans who know that his life is meaningful. Theo is an orphan because his former owners forced bleach down his mother’s throat in an attempt to abort full-term kittens within her belly. Theo’s mother and 5 other siblings died as a result of this torture – but Theo survived. And his survival is what we want to focus on- not the cruelties to animals happen every day at the hands of humans. Theo will live his entire life with Advocates 4 Animals Rescue due to the complications the bleach ingestion has caused his system – and Advocates 4 Animals rescue will likely incur thousands of dollars to keep him healthy and alive- with a quality of life. But his miracle survival is worth the cost, the time and the effort, because we truly believe “every life matters”. A Tale of Two Kitties – Featured Letters of the month

I would like to show you a sample of my mail. We get a TON of mail here. We can’t take in every animal that we are asked to take in. We do the absolute best we can, but every animal is considered on a case by case basis and every animal is considered special to us. We agonize over the ones we can not take and lay sleepless at night, wondering what will become of them, what will happen to them and are they safe right now. It is a terrible part of this job and one that torments those of us that are involved in these decisions. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate it when these please actually follow up and let us know they were able to keep the pet, or they found good arrangements. Below are two examples of people asking me to take in cats. You will note the difference immediately. Isn’t it interesting? The first is from a volunteer that comes here every single week, a few times a week, with her two children. They walk dogs and help out any way they can. They are gracious and loving and wonderful and also adopted two dogs from us. Two “not so easy” dogs I might add.

Hi folks: This is a long shot–I know you guys are always full up with cats, but…..
The kids and I were away in NYC for a week and my nephew stayed at the house with Kip and Henry (Note: those are the dogs they adopted from us). While we were gone Matt (nephew) was driving along Shoddy Hollow Road and came across a dead cat in the road–with a kitten sitting next to it. He got out and moved the kitten off the road, and of course it returned to what was left of Mom. So he brought it home with him.

I found out when we got back yesterday and told him to put up some signs in Otisville, though the kitten was full of fleas and the Mom had no tags–probably not a pair anyone was looking for, but who knows?

Matt has taken the kitten back to my sister’s house but is not allowed to keep it (they have a load of animals already so my sister doesn’t want anymore. We are trying to find a place for it. My husband, the kids and I are all very allergic so we can’t take it. I’m not big on outside cats—too many cars on Derby Road, too many other nasty things could happen.

If you guys could consider taking it in that would be terrific. My sister is willing to cover the surrender fee, I think between all of us we could cover the neutering.

It is a young kitten, very playful. Eats solid food. Classic grey tiger type. We don’t know anything else about it. It hasn’t been vetted at all as of now. It has been bathed.
If you guys can’t help out, we fully understand. (And we promise not to dump it on your doorstep!) If not, do you know of any other no-kill cat groups that are fairly local that might be able to help?
Thanks for your time– The kids and I will probably be up there walking dogs tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

I wrote back:
Of course! Bring the little guy in as soon as you like. Staff is onsite by 8am. Janet can take a look when she gets in to make sure all is ok!
…and no surrender fee. You do a lot for us. Just bring the little guy in.

…and then THEY wrote back:

Hi Kerry: Just checked my email…thanks so much. We’ll come up later today–we have to wait for my nephew to come over (he is 19 and as such is so not a morning person!). I passed the good news on to my sister and she is sending along a donation anyway because she is well aware of the costs involved in taking care of even one small kitten. We’ll hope to see you later today, and thank you so much again.

OK, so there you have an example of the kind way to get a dog or a cat into a facility – VOLUNTEER there or donate there! Offer to try to help with expenses! Be polite! Do what YOU can first to try to help the animal! OK, so on to letter number 2 from this week:

Hi My name is xxxxx. I have a cat that I want to get rid of. The reason I need to give her up is that she is a horrible cat. I have tried breaking her bad habits but cant seem to do it . She goes in the garbage and she also steals food off the counter. She gets fed 3xs a day so there is no reason for this stupid behavior. When I origanally (sic) got her I was told she was a male. Next thing I know she is giving birth and spitting out kittens left and right. No one wants her. I don’t blame them. She’s a pain in the ass and there is nothing good to say about her. I don’t feel it would be nice to lie about her bad habits. Let me know if you would be willing to take her. I can’t give any money for any fee though. She really isn’t worth it and I have other things I’d rather spend the money on anyway then this dumb cat. Also can you come and pick her up. It isn’t convenient for me to drive all the way over there, but let me know when you can come and I will make sure I am here to give her to you.

It's All In a Weekend's Volunteering!

Madee's life started out pretty tough, as she was found taped up in a small box, with no air holes, and with several other cats- they were found dumped in a parking lot! She has been waiting for a home for quite some time now- and we just want everyone to know how sweet and gentle she is! "Mondo"- Cat with Burns is RECOVERING

The cat named "Mondo" who entered our rescue with severe face and paw burns is recovering VERY well after just 4 weeks in the rescue. His hair is growing back in most places on his face, his paws are healing, he is now neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLv, he is housetrained/litterbox trained, he does excellent with other cats, he does well with calm dogs and he does well with adults (he does not like to be chased by small children). He is also treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. He is as sweet as can be- and so adorable! He makes more and more progress with each passing day- and it is amazing to witness his wonderful transformation!

"Pup" has been adopted!

"Pup" has been adopted! Congratulations little guy! This little boxer mix was rescued as a stray at the young age of 3-4 weeks old! He was living outside of a factory business in the freezing cold- hoping for someone kind to help him! It ended up being his lucky day, as he was rescued and brought to Advocates 4 Animals Rescue!
"Pup" did so well in his foster home- he loves everyone who is kind to him- other dogs, cats, people...he just has an amazing personality- even at such a young age!
We congratulate "pup" on his recent successful adoption! We know, without a doubt, that "pup" will have many, many wonderful years of happiness and love with his adopted family!

Burned Cat- Rescued & On the Road to Health & Prosper!

This poor little guy is only approx. 11 months old and has already endured so much in his lifetime! he was a stray and brought in to a high-kill shelter. Well, when Advocates 4 Animals learned about him- we made arrangements to rescue this fellow and bring him into our rescue group! He has since endured neuter surgery, paw pad work (he had severe burns on all paw pads too), several rotten teeth have been removed and he has had extensive treatments for his facial burns/wounds as well.
We are happy to report that he is recovering well- both physically and emotionally...although it is a work in progress and will take lots of time, dedication and patience and funding--- which we are happy to provide!

We are in URGENT need out loving, caring outdoor homes for cats. If you or anyone you know can even take in 1 outdoor kitty- we and the cats will be furr-ever grateful! At Advocates 4 Animals Rescue we strive to always do what is in the best interest of the rescue pet. Some cats that we rescue can not adjust to indoor life and crave to be in the outdoors- but still wish for love and attention at the same time!

Our small non-profit 501c3 rescue group is a group of ALL-VOLUNTEERS and we do not have a physical facility. Therefore, we keep the adoptable cats in volunteer foster homes -- all of which are currently located in busy neighborhoods or near busy streets- and are not adequate for outdoor kitties.

It's a busy time of year for all rescue groups-- as it is kitten season again! But we wanted to be sure and post an update on our annual Easter Photos--- it was a success again this year thanks to your continued support!

Hi there- I'm GINGER! I'm the Chair-purrson of Advocates 4 Animals Feline Rescue & Rehabilitation group...

I'm 10+ (I'm a senior, yes I admit it!) years young, I have no teeth, one of my front legs was badly injured during my tough past- before I was rescued- therefore I only have full use of 3 of my legs. I don't mind though- I love life now that I've been rescued and I'm happy as can be! I'm a permanant resident at Advocates 4 Animals Feline Rescue & Rehabilitation group because I have been named the honorary "chair-purrson" of this wonderful cage-free, 501(c)3, all-volunteer rescue group. We operate entirely by donations- so even if you are able to just donate $5-- it is VERY helpful to helping us save additional lives of homeless felines who need us the most! Although I've been the "chair-purrson" her for awhile now- I've just been told that starting this Fall ('09) I will be having my own "Ask Ginger" column in our quarterly A4A Rescue Newsletter- I'm very excited! In my new column, I will be sharing advise on feline issues, updates on our rescue adventures, updates on great adoptions...and much much more!

Meet brothers- MINGO & MONGO! Approx. 3 months old as of the start of August 2009. What a joy these two young boys are! They are VERY sweet and kind. Both are black with a small white patch of fur as well. Both are LAP CATS which is rare at such a young age. They also of course love to play with their cat toys and each other.

Did you know black cats and dogs are the least likely to be adopted? They are often over-looked because the eye tends to be attracted to lighter colors. As any rescue group or American Shelter has experienced first hand, the seemingly endless amount of owner surrender requests have filled our voice-mails and emails. Rescues such as ours, without a formal shelter, will bring these once loved - now unwanted pets into our homes and without fail into our hearts. And while some will thrive in their new environments, some - despite everything we try to do for them, will never recover from the heartache and grief of losing their family. For those who surrender, regardless of situation, a promise has been broken. As we bring animals into our life, we make a promise and devotion to them that we will protect and care for them. And as always, life will throw us curveballs. But our commitment to our animals needs to be unwavering - for once we bring them in, they need to be our responsibility until it is their time to pass. It is often the owners who bring their once loved pets to our rescue that convince themselves that they will be fine - for they are going to a rescue, certainly they will find another home as they wont be put down. And once the door closes behind them, and they leave their pet, I wonder do you they think about them again or are they merely a distant memory of a failed commitment. I may never know what the former owner feels as they leave their pet behind, but I can be sure of what is felt by the unwanted pet for it is their eyes that will forever tell the story. Fear, anxiety, and depression are the most often experienced emotions felt by formerly owned pets. It is as if they do not understand why they are in this unfamiliar environment and they are pleading with us to take them back to their family. As always, we try to comfort them and familiarize them with their new surroundings, hoping that they will thrive. And most do thrive - the adjustment period is tough, but most will adapt to their new homes. But its the ones who do not thrive, the ones who suffer and inevitably die from grief and depression that tear at our heart strings. They come to us healthy, but the emotional toll of being rejected by the only family they have ever known soon turns sadness into physical ailments. Inevitably, the ones who do not thrive will perish while in our care, they will perish with us - their "new" family by their sides - and though we love them as if they were our own pet, to them we are not their family, we are not the ones who loved them for years, we are not the ones who promised them forever, and we are not the ones who turned our backs on them for whatever reason. Again, as they cross the rainbow bridge, I sit back and wonder if their former guardians know how deeply their unwanted pet cared and loved them - for it was that unconditional love and devotion that ended their life. Please make a lifelong commitment to your pets - don't let them become a statistic.

SUCCESS! *Garth's Amazing Journey:

There has never been a greater rescue story than that of Garth's! If you've been following our blog for some time, you'll remember the bits and pieces we've shared with you on Garth's amazing adventure.

When we first rescued Garth, we thought it would undoubtedly take 1 year minimum to rehabilitate this fellow-- but boy did Garth prove us wrong! It has been just over 3 months and Garth is not only fully rehabilitated and ready to start his search for the purr-fect home, he has also received his aCATemy Diploma from Advocates 4 Animals Feline Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc (http://www.advocates4animals.com/)! Words can't express how PROUD of Garth we are- and we are so honored to have been a part of his amazing recovery (both physically and emotionally).

I often walk around returning phone calls with Garth now slung over my shoulder, purring loudly and loving life. What a turnaround he has made!

Garth's recovery took plenty of patience and a calm presence. His recovery also took a lot of love and devotion. Garth is NO longer food aggressive (not the least bit!), he loves other cats, he loves all people (older children & adults) who are kind to him and he is just the sweetest feline you'll ever meet!

Hello- our names are AUTUMN & CRICKET! I (Autumn) am approximately 18 months old. My wonderful daughter (Cricket) is about 10 months old (as of 4/2009). We are up for adoption and would love to be adopting into a loving, committed home- together (if at all possible!). We have a strong bond and love being around each other. Did I mention we look alike too? I am a long hair hair tiger striped feline and my daughter is short hair and tiger striped! Hello- I'm CLAUDIA! I am approximately 20 months old (as of 4/2009) and I am a beautiful black and white female. I am spayed, up to date on shots, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and I am housetrained/litterbox trained. In addition, I have tested negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia. I am looking for a wonderful indoor only home to call my very own! I get along very well with other cats and I do well with all people who are nice to me. I prefer a home with no dogs. I am VERY affectionate and loving. I love to snuggle, sit on your lap, be petted, etc. My life started out pretty tough. To tell you a little bit about my past, I once had a home when I was a tiny kitten. When my owners were forced to move, they threw me outside to fend for myself and left me all alone. I was scared, starving, lonely--- and I had many litters of kittens because I was not spayed. It was a tough time for me-- and I can't tell you how thankful I am to have been rescued by the wonderful people at ADVOCATES 4 ANIMALS FELINE RESCUE & REHABILITATION group! I felt such relief when they came to rescue me! Now I am patiently waiting to find a home to call my very own. If Advocates 4 Animals determines that the pet is not a good fit for the potential adopter, this will be discussed at the time of the home visit. Every pet is different. Some pets have highly specialized needs (ie: type of environment, other pets, etc.) while others adjust easily to various environments. Felines typically take 2+ weeks to begin adjusting to their new home. All pets have been housed in foster homes while they wait to find a home to call their very own. All adoptable rescue pets are up to date on shots, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and have been spayed/neutered. -Advocates 4 Animals requires an adoption donation fee of $75.00. The adoption donation assists us in rescuing and rehabilitating additional homeless pets.
